Robyn Ochs: ‘Bisexuality goes beyond the binary gender thinking’

IHLIA LGBT Heritage, one of the leading international LGBT archives in the world, has published a short article on their website and in their newsletter about Robyn Ochs presenting at EuroBiCon in Amsterdam this summer.

‘Robyn Ochs states where the EuroBiCon also stands for: bisexuality goes beyond the binary gender thinking. There are more genders than the obsolete idea of two: male and female.’

The definition of bisexuality Robyn Ochs has described in the past, is being shown as a good example of bisexuals who love beyond binairies.

Robyn Ochs’ definition of bisexuality – ‘I call myself bisexual because I acknowledge that I have in myself the potential to be attracted – romantically and/or sexually – to people of more than one sex and/or gender, not necessarily at the same time, not necessarily in the same way, and not necessarily to the same degree.’

The article says about Robyns workshop Beyond Binaries: Identity and Sexuality: ‘Robyn Ochs leads you through with flair, a questionnaire and a lively discussion afterwards.’
